Frequently Asked Questions
For your convenience, we’ve compiled a list of our clients’ most frequently asked questions and their answers, found below. If this information leaves you wanting more details or if you have other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and ask anything. We're here to help!
How do I reserve Twin Oaks for an event?
In order to ensure maximum availability for our clients, we require a signed contract and non-refundable reservation fee. Once these items are crossed off your list, we can guarantee your date(s) and help you get well on your way to making some of your favorite memories with us. If you'd like to start the process, please complete our contact form.
Is there ample parking on-site? How about handicapped parking?
Yes! Honestly, we have more parking than we know what to do with, and this is one of our many strengths compared to other nearby event venues. You'll have no trouble with parking at Twin Oaks, and we do have handicapped parking, as well.
What is included in the rental?
Great question! It depends on the package that you select, as we have two event buildings and you have the option to rent only one or both, in addition to how much time you'd like to schedule. That said, all rentals include the building(s) of choice, the time scheduled, tables, chairs, and access to our expansive and scenic outdoor spaces. Additionally, we're always open to adding more, so don't hesitate to let us know what else you think would be helpful.
Are your buildings heated and cooled?
Yes - we wouldn't think about making you sweat it out in our South Georgia heat or freeze up on the uncommon occasion that we experience a very cold day!
Do I need insurance for my event?
Yes, in order to protect both your investment and ours, liability insurance is required on the date(s) of your event. We know it might seem unnecessary, but we've seen and heard a lot, and who wants a freak incident to spoil what will otherwise be some of your favorite memories?
Can I have alcohol at my event?
Absolutely, with a licensed and insured vendor. While you're with us, we want you to feel at home, and in our home we enjoy a nice drink (or two, or more) from time to time. As we try to, we just ask that you and your guests drink responsibly. Cheers!
